Prepare for the Day of Visit
Having the dentist come to you is much easier than you think! Thanks to modern technology, an entire dentist's office folds up and fits in a small van. We drive to your home, take a few minutes to set up, and then provide a full, complete, and comfortable dental visit.
Space Needed
The Dental Team usually consists of just the doctor and the dental assistant. The equipment needs about six feet by six feet for the dental chair. We can also service bedridden patients in their room. The Doorstep Dental team needs a clear path into your home, clear floor space for the chair and equipment, and a plug outlet. Your family members, or caretaker are welcome to be with you during the exam.
Patient Preparation
Patients should try to have a calm relaxing morning before the visit. Do not worry about cleaning your house or overly preparing for the dental team. Brush your teeth before the visit, drink some water, and relax. We bring comfortable dentistry to you. It is our privilege to treat you and be in your home.
Additional Assistance
If you have health concerns that need to be addressed during the visit, such as mobility issues or mental health concerns, please let us know prior to the visit. If needed, we can coordinate additional medical staff to accompany our team to your home.
If you are bedridden, please let our team know before the visit. We will coordinate with your care giver on how to best serve you during the visit.
